In this powerful production your audience will come to understand this dark chapter in Cherokee History. In 1838, the order was given for the Cherokee to relocate to Indian Territory (Present day Oklahoma). Approximately 4000 Cherokee died in the ensuing trek earning the Cherokee to refer to this event as nu na da ul tsun yi (“the place where they cried”). Grades 3-Adult)
